Customize fields and sections
Checkout Field Editor Pro adds control over the information collected during WooCommerce checkout. Add, edit, enable, disable, remove, and rearrange fields with a drag-and-drop interface. The available field types depend on the checkout layout. In block checkout, these include Text, Number, Textarea, Select, Radio, Checkbox, Email, URL, Paragraph, and Heading; Pro adds Date Picker, Label, and File Upload. Classic checkout also supports premium field types such as File Upload, Time Picker, Date Picker, and Label.
Create custom sections and place them at 14 checkout positions, including before or after customer details, billing, shipping, registration, order notes, terms and conditions, and the submit button. When used with the WooCommerce Multistep Checkout plugin, a section can also be placed inside a custom step.
Set display rules and validation
Show or hide fields and sections according to cart contents, subtotal or total, user roles, products, product variations or categories, other field values, shipping methods, and payment methods.
Validate fields before order submission. Options cover numerical values, email formatting, phone numbers, state and postcode details, and URLs. Pro also supports custom validation rules and confirm-field checks that compare the values of two fields.
Configure pricing and address formats
Price fields can add a fixed amount, a customer-entered amount, a percentage of the cart total, a percentage of the subtotal, or a percentage of the subtotal excluding tax. Dynamic pricing sets a per-unit price and calculates the total from the number of units selected. Hidden fields can also apply predefined fixed prices.
Customize address formats shown on the My Account page, Thank You page, and transactional emails. The override feature can include custom fields in those formats.
Check layout-specific options
Field availability differs between classic and block checkout. Repeat rules for custom fields and sections, based on product quantity or cart count, apply to classic checkout. Configure fields for the layout used by your checkout page.
Pro fields can also be shown and edited on the My Account page and in WordPress admin user profiles. Customer-entered values can be saved for future use. WPML compatibility supports translating field labels and text, and custom hooks let developers extend field behavior. The plugin also supports compatibility with third-party plugins.
Install and configure
Install and activate the paid edition through the WordPress plugin installation process. Then configure fields, sections, rules, validation, and display settings for your checkout workflow.
