Subscribe Forms Pro for WordPress Email Signups

Custom opt-in forms for WordPress

Subscribe Forms Pro and Subscribe Forms Agency are paid plans for creating promotional subscription forms on a WordPress blog or website. Their customizable opt-in experiences help collect email signups beyond the standard newsletter fields supplied by an email content management system.

Forms can appear in embedded page areas, inline content, or widget areas, and shortcodes let you place and manage multiple forms. Layout, messages, backgrounds, colors, and responsive presentation can be adjusted to suit the site.

Templates and design choices

Pro includes 12 pre-designed form templates, so you can start with a prepared layout or create a custom form. Paid customization includes heading text, text color and size, overlay transparency, button text, form width, and other visual settings. You can also use a background image, choose embedded or inline display, and customize colors and backgrounds. The forms are responsive across screen sizes.

Provider connections and lead destinations

Subscribe Forms supports connections with MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, Constant Contact, ConvertKit, iContact, Gist, SendFox, HubSpot CRM, MailerLite, Pipedrive, and MailPoet. Paid plans include forms and support for MailChimp, GetResponse, and ActiveCampaign.

A form can connect to more than one provider. For example, leads can go to MailChimp, Pipedrive, HubSpot, or SendFox while also being sent by email. MailChimp connections can use tags and assign contacts to groups. The plugin can also save and track leads locally on the WordPress site.

Submission responses and placement

Ajax support helps manage form submissions within the form workflow. After submission, you can edit the thank-you screen, redirect visitors to another URL, or hide the form. A redirect can lead to a custom thank-you page or another page, and open in the current tab or a new tab.

The form can include a consent checkbox that the feature list identifies as GDPR compliant. For placement, add a form using its shortcode, embed it in a page or widget area, or use an inline layout.

Free features listed

The free feature list also mentions changing form and button text, adjusting text size and form width, getting the URL of the page where a form was submitted, choosing free fonts, and applying preset colors. The paid plans extend the available design and workflow options.

Set up a form

Install the selected paid plan on a WordPress site, create a form, and choose a template or custom design. Set its text, colors, background, layout, provider connections, and submission behavior. Add it through a shortcode, place it in a page or widget area, or use an inline placement. Before publishing, configure the thank-you screen and any redirect, then set any MailChimp tags or groups you need.
