Choose schema for your content
Structured data describes what a page contains so search engines can interpret it. Schema Pro adds schema options for WordPress sites that need to describe different kinds of pages, content, products, events, or businesses. Search engines decide how to present search results, so adding markup does not guarantee a rich result.
Content and business details
Choose a type that fits the information on the page. Available options include Article, Book, Course, Event, FAQ, How-To, Product, Service, Software Application, Video Object, and WebPage. Depending on the type, fields can describe details such as authors, publishers, dates, prices, availability, providers, venues, or video duration.
Other listed types cover datasets, discussion forums, image licenses, job postings, local businesses, movies, people, podcasts, profiles, questions and answers, recipes, reviews, and vehicles. When a predefined type does not fit, Custom Markup Schema lets you add custom JSON-LD to a page.
Describe the wider website
Site-wide options include About Page, Breadcrumb, Contact Page, Organization, Person, Site Navigation, and Sitelinks Search Box schemas. Organization markup can describe a company name, logo, and social profiles. Contact Page markup can describe business contact details.
Set up Schema Pro
Install and activate All In One Schema Rich Snippets on your WordPress site, then upgrade to Schema Pro for the advanced types and options. Select the schema that matches the page or site information, enter the relevant details, and review the markup as part of publishing.
For example, Article or Book schema can describe editorial content; Product or Service schema can describe commercial pages; and Event or Course schema can describe scheduled or educational offerings. Local Business or Organization schema can describe business information. Choose Custom Markup Schema when a predefined option does not fit.
