Frontend Admin Pro lets users edit WordPress data with forms

How does frontend editing work?

Frontend Admin Pro is the paid edition of Frontend Admin by DynamiApps. Its form builder lets users add or edit WordPress data from the frontend, without accessing the WordPress dashboard. Place a completed form with a Gutenberg block or shortcode.

Forms can work with posts, pages, users, terms, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) fields, and other data, including custom meta. The frontend workflow also supports publishing or trashing posts, editing user profiles, and user registration. Set form access by user role or specific users, hide the admin area from selected users, or open a form in a modal when someone clicks a button.

Which features does Pro add?

Users can edit global options from the frontend when global data, such as header or footer content, is stored in an ACF options page. Submission controls can limit how many times all users or selected users submit a form.

Configure email actions in the form settings to send one or more emails after submission. Map form data to the recipient address, from address, subject, and message. Add the required fields before configuring the email settings.

The Style tab works with Elementor to style forms and buttons. Multi-step forms divide a longer process into stages. Pro also supports payments through Stripe or PayPal when a form is submitted, and WooCommerce integration for adding products from the frontend.

Which integrations and builders are supported?

Built-in integrations include WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, SureCart, Advanced Custom Fields, and Pods. Supported page builders include:

  • Elementor and Bricks Builder
  • Spectra Website Builder and Divi Builder
  • Beaver Builder and Thrive Architect
  • Gutenberg and Oxygen Builder

How do you add a form?

Install and activate Advanced Custom Fields, then install and activate Frontend Admin. Create a form in the form builder, choose its type, and configure its fields, permissions, display method, and Pro options. Add any required fields before setting up email actions. Then place the form with a Gutenberg block or shortcode.

For example, a form can let users submit posts, edit client content, update a profile, or register an account. Add a taxonomy field when users need to choose post categories; Category is an available taxonomy type.
