Ajax Search Pro: Live WordPress Search and Filters
Live search across WordPress content
Ajax Search Pro adds an AJAX-powered search interface that shows results as visitors type. Create multiple search bars with different configurations for different areas of a site. Search activity runs on your server, and the plugin does not require a monthly subscription.
Search posts, pages, custom post types, media attachments, and supported file contents, including PDF, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files. Sources can include titles, descriptions, excerpts, categories, tags, custom fields, comments, and other supported content. Custom field options include repeaters and special field types.
Filters and integrations
Visitors can narrow results by category, custom field, post type, tag, taxonomy term, or date. Filter controls include checkboxes, drop-down menus, multiselect fields, radio buttons, sliders, and range sliders. Results can be grouped by category, post type, or content type.
For community sites, search options cover BuddyPress activity feeds, users, and group names, as well as PeepSo groups and group activities. WooCommerce search and filtering are included. The plugin can also search and filter Elementor Loop Grid and JetEngine Listing Grid content.
Suggestions and result display
Predictive result suggestions, Google keyword suggestions, and autocomplete help visitors refine a query while typing. Keyword highlighting can identify matching terms. Depending on the configuration, results can use a load more control or infinite scroll.
More than 100 configurable themes provide options for colors, layouts, icons, and result presentation. Search results can include images. Image precaching and search phrase caching are among the available caching and performance options, alongside live search statistics.
Adding search to a site
Set up one or more search bars, choose the content sources and filters, then configure the layout, result grouping, caching, and performance options. Add the search interface with a widget or shortcode, use archive-page loading, or configure automatic replacement of the default search. Ajax Search Pro also supports Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, Breakdance, Gutenberg, and Beaver, and is responsive on mobile devices.
