Advanced iFrame Pro is the paid edition of Advanced iFrame for embedding webpages in WordPress pages and posts. Add the [advanced_iframe] shortcode and configure the embed in the administration settings or with shortcode attributes. The underlying plugin also supports embedded 3D models through the p3d viewer.
Choose and adjust iframe content
- Select specific areas of an embedded page on a different domain, with a graphical content selector.
- Use an external workaround for iframe modifications. Direct changes inside an iframe are possible when the parent page and embedded page share a domain. On different domains, resizing content or changing its CSS can require adding JavaScript to the embedded page.
- Adjust iframe and parent-page styling, including content width, and hide areas of the iframe layout to make more room for embedded content.
- Forward URL parameters and map them to the embedded page.
- Resize the iframe to match its content height or width on load, during AJAX activity, or after clicks.
- Use widgets, browser detection, iframe zoom, accordion menus, advanced lazy loading, and link target changes.
- Use the standalone version in PHP pages.
Check that the target page permits embedding before setup. For one iframe, the administration settings explain each parameter and its default. Shortcode attributes can override those settings when individual embeds need different configurations. A valid security code from the administration is required to insert the shortcode.
Feature availability over time
Responsive video support moved from Pro to the free edition in 2022. The free edition's 10,000-view limit was removed in 2025.6, so neither feature is a current Pro-only distinction.
