WP Fastest Cache Premium
WP Fastest Cache Premium builds on page caching with additional controls for WordPress site delivery. Page caching stores static HTML versions of dynamic pages, helping reduce initial server response time and page load time. Preload can create cache files automatically, without waiting for each page to be visited.
Cache timing and exclusions
Set a general cache timeout or use timeout controls for specific pages. Cache files are cleared when a post or page is published, and you can also clear cached files and minified CSS or JavaScript from the plugin options.
- Mobile Cache: create cache files for mobile devices, with an option to enable or disable caching for mobile visitors.
- Widget Cache: cache widget output as part of the Premium toolkit.
- Logged-in users: choose whether their pages are cached.
- Exclusions: exclude pages and user agents, or use a shortcode to block caching for a particular page or post.
Page and asset optimization
Premium minification options for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript remove unnecessary characters, comments, or whitespace from supported files. Combine JS Plus merges JavaScript resources. Defer JavaScript targets render-blocking scripts, while Delay JS delays script delivery. Other available controls include CSS and JavaScript combination, Gzip compression, browser caching, and expires headers.
- Optimize images and convert them to WebP.
- Use lazy loading and Google Fonts Async for resource delivery.
- Run database cleanup for items such as revisions, trashed posts and pages, spam or trashed comments, transient options, and orphaned metadata.
- Disable Emoji to remove the emoji inline CSS and wp-emoji-release.min.js.
CDN and proxy cache support
The plugin supports SSL and CDN integration with Bunny CDN, Cloudflare, and other CDN providers. CDN integration changes static resource URLs so those assets can be served by the CDN. When a cache purge begins, the Cloudflare integration can clear its cache through the API. Varnish Cache integration clears proxy-cached content when WP Fastest Cache clears its own cache.
Setup and configuration
Install and activate the plugin, then open its settings and enable page caching. Configure cache timeout and preload, followed by mobile and widget caching where needed. Review minification, JavaScript combining, defer and delay settings, then configure image optimization, WebP conversion, lazy loading, and Google Fonts Async as appropriate for the site. Add exclusions for pages, users, or agents whose content should not be cached. After changing settings, clear cached and minified files so the updated configuration can take effect.
