WP Encryption PRO helps site administrators generate and manage Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates through a guided process. The plugin automates domain verification, certificate installation and renewal, and provides tools for enabling HTTPS and reviewing security settings in the WordPress dashboard.
Certificate management
- Automatically verify domains and install SSL certificates.

Manual installation can suit specialized VPS or dedicated servers without cPanel. It requires modifying the server configuration through SSH access, as described in the product documentation.
HTTPS and site security
One-click options can force HTTPS sitewide with a 301 htaccess redirection. The redirect-loop fix supports configurations using Cloudflare, StackPath, load balancers or reverse proxies. A mixed-content fixer helps address insecure content issues. The SSL Health page provides an SSL score and settings for HSTS strict transport security and secure cookies.
The plugin can enable security headers including X-XSS-Protection, X-Content-Type-Options and Referrer-Policy. Other settings can stop user enumeration, disable file editing, hide login errors and hide the WordPress version.
Monitoring and login protection
SSL monitoring can send automatic email notifications before a certificate expires. Login security includes passkeys powered by WebAuthn, with authentication through passkeys protected by a browser or password manager.
Daily vulnerability scans include reporting. Daily malware and integrity scans check for threats and security issues, with instant notifications. Pro also lists one-to-one priority support through live chat, email and a premium support forum, plus SSL installation help for non-cPanel sites.
Setup and HTTPS checks
Install and activate the WP Encryption plugin, register the site, then follow the certificate-generation process to verify the domain and create an SSL certificate. After upgrading to PRO and activating the Pro plugin, automatic renewal runs in the background 30 days before expiration without additional auto-renewal configuration.
After the certificate is installed, enable HTTPS sitewide and review the SSL Health settings. If a page still shows insecure content, check for HTTP assets loaded by themes, builders, CSS, JavaScript or external links. For Elementor content, use Elementor > Tools > Replace URL to replace the HTTP site address with its HTTPS version.
