Manage connected sites from one dashboard
UpdraftCentral Premium Cloud is a hosted version of UpdraftCentral for managing connected WordPress sites from one central location. The dashboard is hosted and maintained for you, bringing site information and routine administration into a shared workflow.
Open a connected site's WordPress dashboard with one click, review system information, and see updates across your connected sites on one screen. This gives you a central view when checking configurations or carrying out routine maintenance across a group of websites.
Handle backups and updates centrally
Manage UpdraftPlus backups from the dashboard. You can start a backup, view or edit backup settings, review available backups, download or delete them, and start a restore. UpdraftVault storage can also be managed from the same central environment.
View WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates across connected sites, then carry them out according to filters from one screen. Easy Updates Manager controls update policies. The dashboard can also remotely control WP-Optimize to clean a site's database.
Manage site administration and reporting
- Run Google Analytics for an overview of important key performance indicators across your sites.
- Manage comments across connected sites from one place.
- Manage users and assign different access levels.
- Create tags to organize websites into categories.
- Activate, deactivate, or delete plugins on one or multiple websites.
- Install and automatically activate one or more plugins from the plugin directory.
- Select and set a default theme, or install themes on one or multiple websites.
What the dashboard workflow is like
The interface is a dynamic, single-page JavaScript application that runs in the front end and full-screen mode. It does not require frequent page refreshes and keeps the WordPress dashboard out of the way. Communications are sent directly from the browser where possible. Connections between sites are RSA encrypted and signed, and each connection has a unique key pair.
The interface is mobile-ready and responsive. UpdraftCentral can also run by localhost, allowing its dashboard website to remain off the public Internet. It is extensible and developer friendly, with broad use of WordPress hooks and JavaScript documentation through JSDoc.
Connect the sites you want to manage
To use the hosted edition, access UpdraftCentral Premium Cloud. Install UpdraftPlus on each site you want to control, then connect those sites to the central dashboard. Once connected, you can review site information, backups, updates, and administration features from one location.
