Like & Share Pro: Facebook Controls for WordPress
Like & Share Pro adds configurable Facebook tools to WordPress content. Choose where Like, Share, and Follow buttons appear, add a Facebook Feed, and manage previews and statistics from the plugin settings.
Choose buttons and placement
Set Like buttons to show “like” or “recommend,” choose a layout, and align the buttons left, right, or center. Place them before content, after it, or in both positions. Use a shortcode for a custom position.
- Choose Standard, Box count, Button count, or Button layouts.
- Use the standard Follow button image or upload a custom one.
- Show buttons on selected pages or post types, and enable Like across the whole site or on individual pages.
- Disable meta tags when needed.
Feed, previews, and statistics
Add a Facebook Feed with Timeline, Events, or Messages tabs. A widget can display the posts with the most likes. The statistics list can show pages with Facebook buttons and their Like, Share, and Follow counts.
Use the Facebook preview option to review supported content, and edit meta tag fields for its image and description. Pro settings also let you add custom code and configure subsites across a WordPress network.
Language and setup
The plugin can detect the current website language for multilingual use and is ready for multilingual and right-to-left environments. To set it up, install Like & Share in WordPress, activate the Pro edition, choose the buttons and display options, adjust their layout and alignment, then save. Add the shortcode wherever you need a custom button position. Step-by-step documentation, videos, and a support channel are available.
Compatibility note: The plugin page warns that Like & Share has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may have compatibility or support issues. Check compatibility with your WordPress version before adopting it.
