How the gallery layout works
Justified Gallery PRO displays native WordPress galleries in responsive rows. Images keep their original proportions without cropping, and the layout adapts to different screen widths. The image URL is selected for the display context: smaller screens use smaller images, while larger screens use larger ones.
Row height and the gap between images can be adjusted in the settings. The PhotoSwipe lightbox lets visitors open and browse gallery images, and descriptions can be turned off when they do not suit the page design.
Create galleries in WordPress
In the block editor, insert the Justified Gallery block and add images. You can also transform a standard Gallery block into a Justified Gallery block. In the Classic Editor, keep using the native [gallery] shortcode to create galleries.
PRO styling and loading
- Lightbox customization: adjust the image viewer's presentation.
- Tile styles: customize the visual treatment of gallery tiles.
- Loading optimization: for large galleries with more than 50 photos per page, PRO optimization can speed gallery loading by up to 20 times.
- Core gallery features: PRO includes the responsive justified layout, lightbox, descriptions, mobile adaptation and other gallery capabilities.
Photographers publishing large collections and portfolio sites can use the justified layout to present images in an orderly grid while keeping gallery creation within the familiar WordPress workflow.
