Build image galleries in Gutenberg
Galleryberg Pro adds layout and styling controls to the WordPress block editor for galleries used in portfolios, product displays, travel collections, photography projects, and blog posts. Choose Tiles for an evenly spaced grid, Square for uniform image shapes, Masonry for a cascading arrangement, Justified for balanced rows, or the Pro-only Mosaic collage layout.
Set the layout for each screen
Choose from one to eight columns and set different column counts for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Spacing and alignment controls help adjust how the gallery sits at each screen size.
The built-in GLightbox opens images in a responsive lightbox with zoom and fade animations, keyboard navigation, touch and swipe support, zoom with drag controls, and loop navigation. Galleryberg Pro adds thumbnail navigation. You can also disable the lightbox in the block settings.
Adjust captions and images
Place captions below images, across the full image as an overlay, or in a bar overlay. Set captions to stay visible, appear on hover, or hide on hover, and adjust their alignment.
Style images individually with borders, rounded corners, cropping controls, aspect ratios, custom image sizes, duotone filters, and custom link destinations. The block also has controls for spacing, padding, margins, border width and color, border radius, separate image corner settings, and caption text and background colors.
Add and configure a gallery
Install the plugin, add a Galleryberg Gallery block to a post or page, then choose Upload or Media Library to add images. Select a layout, set columns for each device, adjust spacing, configure captions, and choose whether to enable the lightbox.
The plugin uses server-side rendering and is designed to load quickly across devices, including with large images. Keyboard navigation supports accessibility and usability. Galleryberg states that it does not collect or store personal data; images, captions, and settings remain on your WordPress site.
