Bring social content into WordPress
The official EmbedSocial WordPress plugin connects to EmbedSocial tools for collecting, managing, and publishing social content in website widgets. EmbedSocial Pro is one of its paid plans. Supported sources include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, Twitter, Vimeo, Yelp, and YouTube. Account connections require the relevant permissions.
Combine reviews, feeds, and galleries
Review tools can gather feedback from Google, Facebook, Yelp, and other business review sources, then combine it in a widget. You can respond to testimonials, choose which reviews appear, and display photo reviews. Email and SMS requests, website collection forms, and a “Leave a review” button provide ways to invite customer feedback. Notifications can alert you to new Google business reviews.
Feed and gallery tools can display social posts, photos, videos, mentions, and hashtag content. Depending on the selected tool, options include video feeds, hashtag feeds, shoppable posts, and feed analytics. You can create unlimited widgets and review forms.
Choose a layout and style
More than 10 layouts and templates are available for presenting reviews and social content, including sliders. Adjust settings such as the number of items, columns, spacing, sorting, and color scheme where available. Custom CSS can help match a widget to your WordPress theme, and the widgets can be embedded without coding.
Set up a review widget
Install and activate the plugin, then create an EmbedSocial account. The review setup follows this order:
- Choose a pricing plan and sign in to your account.
- Connect your Google and Facebook accounts.
- Generate your social media reviews.
- Create and customize widgets.
- Copy the code and embed it on your website.
The listed plans are Pro, Pro Plus, and Premium; the source does not describe differences between them. The plugin directory listing says the plugin has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may no longer be maintained or supported, so compatibility issues may occur with newer releases.
