Build a map around its locations
Easy Google Maps Pro adds customizable Google Maps to WordPress. Use a map to present business addresses, contact-page locations, routes, real estate listings, delivery areas, or other points of interest. Maps support unlimited markers and locations. Each marker can include text, images, video, links, email addresses, and phone numbers in its description.
Choose how visitors browse markers
Adjust map dimensions, zoom, marker options, and other display settings. Maps are responsive, and the Pro version includes selectable custom themes for map styling. For maps with many locations, organize markers into groups and use clusterization. Visitors can also browse locations in an exposition slider or table view, or use horizontal and vertical sliders. Description sliders and slider table-view options provide more ways to browse marker details.
Add routes and map layers
- Show alternate routes and route steps.
- Add KML layers, with import and filtering options.
- Display traffic, transit, and bicycling layers, or use a heatmap layer for location data.
- Draw figures and paths directly on the map.
- Enable front-end editing of maps and markers.
- Add social share buttons, and import or export Google Maps and markers.
These controls can support different mapping tasks. For example, a restaurant can add photos or video to its location marker, while a real estate site can group properties and show their details in a slider or table. A service business can map delivery areas and routes.
Place the finished map
After adding the plugin in WordPress, choose Add Map from the left navigation menu. Enter a map name and select Save Map. Then adjust settings such as width in pixels or as a percentage, height in pixels, zoom, and available styling options. Add the finished map with its shortcode or PHP code, open it in a popup, or display it through a Google map widget.
