Contact Form Pro extends WordPress contact forms with more control over what visitors can submit and where their messages go. Create forms without coding and place them on pages, posts, or widget areas. Forms adapt to different screen sizes.
Form fields and layout
Add unlimited custom fields for support requests, quote requests, job applications, surveys, and other messages. Pro includes the free version’s features, such as pre-built fields, file attachments, and an e-sign field. Choose whether core fields such as name, email, subject, and message appear, are hidden, or are disabled. You can also set required fields, pre-fill subject or message text, and check phone number formats.
Reorder fields with drag and drop, adjust the form width, or arrange fields in two columns. You can also display a form in a popup. Tooltips, placeholders, alignment controls, and submit button styling help tailor the form’s presentation.
Department routing and email
When messages need to reach different teams, enable department selection and route submissions by department. Set the recipient to the default administrator address or a custom email address, and send copies to specified addresses. Email notifications can include sender details such as IP address, submission time, referral source, and browser or device information.
Pro adds a Reply to address in email headers and an auto-response system for sending customized replies to visitors.
Privacy and spam controls
Add customizable terms and privacy checkboxes to collect the acknowledgments your form requires. For spam protection, use Captcha or reCaptcha, the Honeypot field, and Limit Attempts to control submission frequency.
Analytics and styling
Connect Google Analytics to track form submissions. A settings panel also lets you add custom code. Popup animation is available, and the plugin supports multilingual forms and right-to-left layouts.
Setup and placement
Install and activate Contact Form Pro in WordPress, then configure the form in the plugin settings. Add fields, choose which ones are required, set department routing and email recipients, and select privacy and spam controls. Place the form using the [bestwebsoft_contact_form] shortcode, the Gutenberg block, or a widget. Send a test email before publishing to check that submissions reach the intended inbox.
