Independent Analytics Pro extends WordPress analytics with reports for campaigns, live activity, clicks, sales, forms, and visitor journeys. View visitor and conversion data in the WordPress dashboard, with analytics data stored in your site's WordPress database.
What does Pro add to WordPress analytics?
The Pro edition adds reports for campaign performance and visitor activity, alongside tools for reviewing interactions and conversions.
- UTM campaigns: Create and track campaign links to see traffic associated with tagged campaigns.
- Real-time analytics: Check current visitor activity on your site.
- Click tracking: Review clicks on links and buttons.
- eCommerce sales: Track sales for WooCommerce, FluentCart, Easy Digital Downloads, SureCart, and PaidMembershipsPro.
- User journeys: Explore recorded sessions with a timeline of how visitors move through the site.
- Form conversions: Track submissions automatically across more than 20 form plugins.
- Customizable Overview: Configure the main report with information that fits your workflow.
- Solo reports: Open dedicated reports for individual pages and referrers.
- HTML email reports: Schedule formatted reports daily, weekly, or monthly for yourself or clients.
Where can these reports help?
Bloggers can check which posts readers view, while news teams can follow current traffic and post views from the Posts menu. Stores can connect product interest and traffic sources with sales. Agencies can share readable reports with clients in WordPress; startups can review where early adopters come from and which messaging draws attention. Nonprofits can examine donor-related traffic and campaign activity. Analytics access can also be shared with team members.
How does tracking work?
Independent Analytics tracks visitors without manually adding JavaScript or code snippets. It does not use cookies or communicate with external servers, and analytics data is stored in the site's WordPress database.
Independent Analytics can run alongside Google Analytics. Data from Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats, or other analytics tools cannot be imported.
How do you get started?
In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New, search for Independent Analytics, then install and activate it. Tracking starts after activation. If you use a caching plugin, clear the cache once before checking the reports in your WordPress dashboard.
