• The chimney must be cleaned every year by a specialist. Cracks on the chimney should be repaired.

• The chimney must be isolated from burning materiales in the loft.

• Do not leave fire starting materials, such as matches, lighters etc. In the reach of children.

• Educate children not to play with fire, how to use matches and flammable materials, and how to act in dangerous situations.

• Do not leave your children alone in a room, where there is fire burning in the stove.

• When leaving your home, make sure that the fire burned itself out.

• Do not close the intake door of your stove until no burning material remained.

• Make an emergency water-reserve for fire-prevention.
